let’s start with the season first. officially, there are four seasons as follows.
- spring/summer (S/S)
- autumn/winter (A/W)
- resort and
- pre fall.
in present days few fashion houses produce 52 micro season every week, since there are lots of trends happening around the world every week.
Inter-season / Transeason fashion shows (resort/cruise)
as mentioned above there are four seasons mainly . despite having those seasons fashion houses have an extra fashion season such as resort. (Also known as cruise). these are high fashion shows. specifically resort collection designs are for vacation often are in bright color. Cruise seasons are on around May or June month.

Pre-fall
Early Autumn is a fashion show combining the spirit of both Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter collections, held in the late summer. The early collections are usually not as heavy in performance as the designs in the main season shows. They are a fusion of men’s fashion, haute couture and ready-to-wear collections. Early fall is the crystallization of the fashion of the whole year, bringing the soul and form of Spring / Summer fashion but also predictive for the Fall / Winter designs.

these shows are often organized twice a year for the mass market trendy collection, but still, these are ensuring that the depth, trend and beauty of the designers. while comparing the cost of the ready to wear collection with the main season collection is lower but due to the limited quantity of the production it is still quite expensive.
